Q. What does that have you contribution? of? E an active member of TIG?
As do an active member of TIG, I find that it is a communaut? ormidable, which puts in contact young people of the whole world and the assistance? rouver inspiration? 'to inform and? 'to imply for amndt? orer their environment at the local or world level. TakingITGlobal shows the power of Internet well.

? Re an active member of TIG, for me? wants to say that I am at the good place for R? iser my ambitions and to have a positive influence on my entourage, especially young people. I try to sensitize them? be HT? S what I consid? like crucial - as it? does cation, the fight counter the pauvret? can T the climatic changes - and? E thus to help? otiver people so that they amndt? NT of the positive changes within their communaut?

Q. What do you think of the R? new m? have in the field of the social changes?
I believe firmly that the m? have of mass must? E consid? S like a tool p? gogic and must? E utilis? like tel. Thus, new m? can aces play a R? important within the soci?. They can help the young people? surface to pass their messages and their id? out of Cr? T a communaut? ondiale O? can youth be expressed and cause opportunit? to start? uvrer in favour of a better world. TIG refl? tr? well this spirit-L?

Q. Why do you find that it is important that one Cr? m? have?
I find that nowadays, it is tr? important what of young people Cr? T of the m? have - projects on line, for example - since it is the way by which the whole of the soci? can take note of their needs and satisfy them or help them? tteindre their objectives. M? are aces important because they refl? NT F? of which the soci? it-m? sees itself and it is L? u' one really arrives? nfluencer masses.

Q. Which are the tools which seem most useful to you?
I am convinced that the most important tools are Internet and the programs T? , since we live D? rmais in a world O? technology D? loppe? extraordinary speed. It is a R? it? is T it necessary to make use of it correctly - in? as people and by sensitizing them with large the probl? Q. which m? the young people are they have more expos? ? 'current hour?
Youth conna? especially Internet and T?. It is one? E? ouble slicing because? has advantages but also a certain number of inconv? ents. To speak about the advantages, I would say that the m? can aces give to the young people the means of engaging the dialogue and of D? ttre of the questions which relate to youth or the soci? in G? ral. Will that make it possible to find solutions with large the probl? do S what the young people meet today, and especially to guarantee it? primary education cation for the children and to fight against the pauvret? like att? er effects N? co.s of the climatic changes.

Q. Which are the questions which impassion you? Does we speak about your R? S.
I adore science, the sport, the catch of initiative, Po? E, the litt? ture and others activit? enriching. I like to engage and make move the soci? in the good direction. I think that the young people must realize that they are citizens of the world. I am firmly convinced that youth, as a collective force, would be able to bring positive changes in our soci? and in the world in G? ral.

through the R? with does the TIG, Yassir have lanc? N project of? cation in line ax? ur Po? E, which can? My first Open Forum
Related to this project: Creating Local Connections Canada/Liaisons locales Canada

Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Hello CLC Team,

Today was my first Open Forum held in Montreal in Rosemount's Cegep.

There weren't many participants to this Open Forum even if I promoted it a LOT, but the important is that it went very well and I met amazing people especially Mr David Millar who was a professor and is now an activist, he works with many organizations such as PaixQuebecPeace.

So, I will talk about what we did during three hours. We met, as scheduled, at 10:00 am, then we started discussing about TakingITGlobal, I presented CLC Canada, its mission, its characteristics and my role as Montreal Youth Engagement Coordinator.

Moreover, Ilyes and I presented a PowerPoint Presentation about TakingITGlobal, it was in English, but all the participants were bilingual, so it was good !

Furthermore, Mr Millar shared with us some of his contacts and networks who can help us in Quebec especially in the organisation of Open Forums, Events ...

Finally, we took some photos and we decided to keep in touch with all the participants to this Open Forum by email and phone. Mr Millar appreciated a lot the vision of TakingITGlobal, its motto: Inspire Inform Involve and all the amazing resources available on the TIG site and the CLC project page.

Insuring primary education to children / Assurer l'éducation primaire aux enfants / Asegurarles la educación primaria a los niños.
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Primary education is the first stage of compulsory education. It is very important to insure primary education to children if we want a better future for humanity especially in some developing countries. In fact, the major goals of primary education are achieving basic literacy and numeracy amongst all pupils, as well as establishing foundations in science, geography, history and other social sciences. These goals are mandatory and extremely important for each individual in his first stage of life. So, commit to do your best to promote primary education and its importance for children. Thanks in advance to all of you !! It is the right of children to be educated and at least to receive a primary education ! Help us promote this commitment and project for a better world.

Commit to help to insure primary education for children at:

Hello everyone,

Hope my message finds you very well.

Last month has been fantastic and rich of events: climate change workshop, meetings with Alternatives, writing blogs and inspiring others.

In fact, the most interesting event was the workshop, I did not take pictures, but all participants (11) were very interested ! We discussed about climate change in general, the individual actions that we can take as youth to diminish its effects and how we can play an important role in the prevention of other environmental problems.

Also, this month, I will be organizing an important event. In reality, it is an OPEN FORUM (Saturday March 22nd from 10 to 12h30) that will take place in Rosemount's Cegep in Montreal, if you know some people that will be interested, please let me know, just a quick note to my email: montreal@clc.takingitglobal.org
