My first Open Forum
Related to this project: Creating Local Connections Canada/Liaisons locales Canada

Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Hello CLC Team,

Today was my first Open Forum held in Montreal in Rosemount's Cegep.

There weren't many participants to this Open Forum even if I promoted it a LOT, but the important is that it went very well and I met amazing people especially Mr David Millar who was a professor and is now an activist, he works with many organizations such as PaixQuebecPeace.

So, I will talk about what we did during three hours. We met, as scheduled, at 10:00 am, then we started discussing about TakingITGlobal, I presented CLC Canada, its mission, its characteristics and my role as Montreal Youth Engagement Coordinator.

Moreover, Ilyes and I presented a PowerPoint Presentation about TakingITGlobal, it was in English, but all the participants were bilingual, so it was good !

Furthermore, Mr Millar shared with us some of his contacts and networks who can help us in Quebec especially in the organisation of Open Forums, Events ...

Finally, we took some photos and we decided to keep in touch with all the participants to this Open Forum by email and phone. Mr Millar appreciated a lot the vision of TakingITGlobal, its motto: Inspire Inform Involve and all the amazing resources available on the TIG site and the CLC project page.

Insuring primary education to children / Assurer l'éducation primaire aux enfants / Asegurarles la educación primaria a los niños.
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Primary education is the first stage of compulsory education. It is very important to insure primary education to children if we want a better future for humanity especially in some developing countries. In fact, the major goals of primary education are achieving basic literacy and numeracy amongst all pupils, as well as establishing foundations in science, geography, history and other social sciences. These goals are mandatory and extremely important for each individual in his first stage of life. So, commit to do your best to promote primary education and its importance for children. Thanks in advance to all of you !! It is the right of children to be educated and at least to receive a primary education ! Help us promote this commitment and project for a better world.

Commit to help to insure primary education for children at:
